I am raising my grandchildren. It used to cost me about $200.00 per week; it is [now] well over $400.00 for 6 people per week. Small roll of sausage [was] $7.00 WTH I needed 8 for Christmas dinner. It was the most expensive dinner I ever made. So much so that I had to be creative for another week to feed everyone. Boiling the turkey carcass to get everything out of it [and] shredding leftover turkey and using different types of noodles to make turkey noodle soup that only lasted 2 days. Not enough leftovers to make anything else than mother Hubbards cupboard. Coupons don’t seem to help much anymore.
